THE PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR (PI)-LED MISSION WILL LAUNCH ON A COMMERCIAL COMMUNICATIONS SATELLITE TO MAKE OBSERVATIONS OVER THE AMERICAS FROM AN ORBIT OF APPROXIMATELY 22,000 MILES (35,400 KILOMETERS) ABOVE THE EQUATOR.
